The Law II

Standard

It might have crushed some petals
It might have got soaked
The wheel keeps rolling
The wheel keeps going
Sunny or rainy
Hot or cold
The wheel still rolls
The wheel still goes

The Law

Standard

Dawn to dusk
Dusk to dawn
Light to darkness
Chill to warmness
Leaves grow and flowers blossom
They dry and fall and become nutrients
It’s a cycle
It’s how the world runs

The Peel

Standard

It’s happening
I can’t stop it
It’s going
I can’t help it
The itch all over
The undescribable dryness
Leave something behind
To move forward
Lose something important
To leap for even more significance

The Grey-eyed Lady

Standard

She never saw
Never at all
The breathtaking stars and rainbow caught in her hair
Her very long, always flying hair
She never realised
Never ever did
The lines and spots left by winds on her face
Her grey eyes focused ahead all the time

The Tea He Made

Standard

Part of me
He’s leaving with part of me
Blood and flesh
Sweat and tear
Gone
To be gone with him
The home that once warmed us
The tea he made
His smile
His kind eyes
I drew him
Pen to paper
The way he always calls me
His accent, his voice
Part of me
Part of my heart
In the air frozen
Flying off any second

The Drawer

Standard

I’ll draw new eyes for you
When I can no longer remember how they shone
I’ll trace your new face
Your new figure
When I’ve forgotten how you used to look
No need to worry
No need to be afraid
I can draw you
I can lengthen days
