The Belief

‘You wrongly believe everybody is good.’
I received this comment from someone close to me.
I don’t trust strangers. But when people step into my life, I choose to trust them.
I do assume everybody is good.
I trust, until one lie.
And I will never ever trust that person again.
No chance is usually given, unless I see a lot of changes in him or her.
Every time I start a relationship, I believe it is going to turn out well and we are going to stay together lifelong.
Apparently I have been wrong so far.
I failed. Once, twice, thrice…
Still, I believe.
If one doesn’t believe in love, imagine how pathetic and depressing it’d be!
I don’t know if my belief is right or wrong.
I’m believing. Always.

The Ambition

My job is great.
It’s a very independent and liberal working environment most of the time (of course, you still need to be obedient to your boss). Very often, I gotta do what I believe in. My communication with my boss is great as well. He respects me and looks after me when I encounter situations where my experience can’t cope.
Well I maybe giving 100% but I am definitely not giving anything beyond that.
I am ambitious.
I see a route: manager, director, CXO.
I see opportunities: job market, LinkedIn, headhunters.
I see how I can get there: experience, education, training, personal vision.
However, my ultimate ambitions have never been working in an office that does not belong to me, on tasks that are not decided by me, and towards goals that do not belong to me.
The longer and the more I work for bosses, the stronger my feeling of wanting to do something that totally belongs to me.
Risky?
Yea, as risky as getting fired for any reason you can imagine as an employee – company restructuring, whole department elimination, unacceptable behaviour, lack of capability, failure in completing a project, failure of your project, insulting your boss unknowingly, insulting your boss purposedly, etc., etc. and it’s possible that no one in that industry will like or want you anymore.
Anyhow I don’t see chasing your own dreams risky.
You are doing exactly what you like and what you wish to.
True, it’s not necessarily for you to succeed at first try and go on succeeding for life. But, this is the case with whatever we choose and do.
No matter what people say, stick to what you believe in and never let your dreams die.
Keep on preparing and grab all the opportunities you see.
Step by step, you will be at the place you exactly hope for.
